Bare Rose Alice Gara Kimono

The time in between Spring and Summer is the perfect time for flowers and kimono. The Alice Gara Kimono from Bare Rose is one such piece that combines both of these into a fantastic piece of work.

Large sleeves and fabulous flowers is the shining point of this kimono and not even the garden of daisy can outshine this kimono with all its redness.

AvaGirl Kiyomi Kimono and Japanese Sandal Ice Skates

AvaGil has some new items on sale over at The Darkness event. The Kiyomi Kimono is a Japanese dress with a texture HUD that allows you to change into various colors. The Kiyomi is a very special pair of Japanese sandals that doubles as a pair Ice Skates with optional Skating AO or control HUD similar to that from the AvaGirl Legwarmer Skates:

Here you have a close up of the Japanese sandals with the high socks and ribbons. Maybe the designers of AvaGirl love Black and Red as well as Kitty, this is the default color if you do not make any changes and Kitty is perfectly fine with it.

AvaGirl Aya

The outfit Aya from AvaGirl is one sexy kimono that is high recommended especially when a HUD that allow so much customization to the various parts, including the kimono itself, the sash and band and even the panties can be changed to any color you desire from the HUD.

Look at the rainbow arrays of colors available. You practically have a whole wardrobe of kimono with just this one piece! Well, technically it is 6 pieces as it comes with support for different mesh bodies including Slink and Maitreya!

It would be impossible to show you all the colors combinations, but at least Kitty can show you her favorite black vs red! Notice the little knots on the belt, that is tied with good care and Kitty assure you it will not come off! Does Kitty look like a deadly Kunoichi now? (P.S. That is female ninja!) 

If the dark arts is not your type, you can always try the bright colorful red for a change and notice how silky shine the kimono is. Kitty assure your it is of great quality and does not tear easily. Not even in the jungle!

Bare Rose Irouchikake

The Irouchikake is the Japanese tradtitional bridal dress and Kitty is going to show you one from Bare Rose today!

The Irouchikake have the outermost layer of kimono draped over the entire outfit with the obi hidden underneath it, so you will not see it at all. This elegant embroidery on the kimono is perfect for a glamorous wedding day. 

From the look, you can tell that the kimono is radiating a aural of happiness and good fortunate so this is the perfect dress for the wedding if you are considering one done with Japanese style.

Bare Rose Tsukuyomi Lady

Bare Rose has released Tsukuyomi Lady (as well as Tsukuyomi) a while and it also happens to be one of the featured outfit at 2017 Hatu Haru Kimono Ichi  (2017初春着物市) held at Milky House:

Tsukuyomi (月読) is the Moon God or in this case Goddess in Japanese legends and the first thing you will notice of this outfit is the cloud barriers as well as the Moon hovering ahead. These are very unique accessories that doesn't come with most other outfit, not even Bare Rose.

From the back view you will notice... Kitty has a really black tail... No I mean the outfit! You will see how majestic the godly cape and spines looks like. Can you feel an aura of moonly energy from Kitty?

Up close you can see the beautiful moon necklace as well as huge tiara which nobody could miss.

En Nagare Zakura

Nagare Zakura is a kimono from En, which is only available on Marketplace now. Although this is not a new Kimono, but at $100L, it is one of the best kimono you can get for this winter!

Nagare Zakura literally means sakura flower of the flowing water and it has just that flowy texture all over the multiple layers on the kimono. It even comes with a set of hair as shown in the poster for you if you want to use it. So that is almost like getting a hair plus the kimono for the same price! Kitty do love the hair accessory though and it does looks perfect even on her natural hair.

The back of the kimono has a huge magenta ribbon on it and you can see the multiple layers of the kimono lower skirt even clearly on the back. IF you had notice, there is also a nice fur stall (fake fur I hope) on the front so you can tell that this is the perfect kimono for the cold winter.

Irodori Furisode Collection 2016 Rose

The Furisode Collection 2016 is a new range of flowery Kimonos from Irodori and it comes in 6 colors. Kitty love it so much that she decide to buy the Rose and try it out for you.

The first thing you will notice there is actually there is a complete hair with accessories with this beautiful purple themed Kimonos. But that is not stopping you from applying it with other hair. simply get your HUD or get the Black version on.

This is the proof that it would work with other hair too. The Kimono also had taken into considerations of the cold winter we are having this year and we have a nice fur (ok, let's imagine thats syntactic fur because Kitty do not like to harm animals) stole to keep you warm on your neck while the thick Kimono protects the rest of your body from the chill.

The Furisode is good for any occasion and especially there are so many things to be celebrating this Feb, including the coming Valentine's Day tomorrow. Kitty is really enjoying herself in her little Japanese Tea Art with her friends dressing up to her best Kimono. And also the Latest as well from Irodori!

Kimono Mania at Milky House

Kitty went Kimono shopping again (Why does she need so many Kimonos, nobody will ever know...) and she came upon a rather interesting street of stores selling Japanese goods from fans to katana and of course costume like Kimonos and even statues like Bishamon.

As Kitty could get more information at the moment, she can only assumed it to be part of the new expansion to Milky House or simply a special summer event here. In any case, she found 3 beautiful Kimono on the Lucky Chair at Irodori and she waited and waited until she got all 3 of them here.

The first one Kitty got was the Oiran style Kikka Black. Its named after a type of flower call Chrysanthemum. It is a show stealer anyday.

Irodori's outfit usually comes complete with the hair and headdress and here is Kitty in the nice crown like headdress for this outfit.

The next is a set named Misty, which is a perfect Kimono for dancing. It comes with a lacey blueish Kimono with orange belts.

Again, it also comes with a rather flashy head dress as well as a matching hair for this Kimono.

The last set Kitty got took her quite some time and it is the Pink version of Ichiya Tennyo, loosely translated to be Nightly Sky Fairy. It does looks very dream like and celestial, doesn't it?

Maybe it is because Kitty had camped very long for this, but she love this most among the 3.

There are lots of other freebies like shapes from DrLife as well as accessories too. All very oriental and detailed in texture. Kitty enjoyed her visit very much, although she did not see a lot of other people. Perhaps this is because this is a preview and not yet officially opened? I guess the only way to find out is to ask Sara about it. 

Oh and did Kitty mentioned that there is fireworks at night too!

A Kabuki Show at Milky House

Kitty Had always love Kabuki and only a few night ago, she has an invitation to attend one at Milky House. Although Kitty had always wondered how it would feel to be on stage in beautiful Kimonos performing for everything, she just listen very quietly and enjoy herself on the evening. But she was so engrossed in the performance that she totally forgotten to take photo for the event!

Did you spot where Kitty is sitting? Its not the best seat, but it is one of the better one already consider how full it was when she arrived.

One of her favorite part was the solo about the spider princess.Maybe it was because both cat spirit and spider spirit are kind of non human.

It was a pity this was all that Kitty took, but it was really a great event and you should not miss the next one coming up!

Toukamon Spring Collection - Kimono of 4 Creators

I just returned from a Kimono Fashion Show plus theater performance at Milk House and all I can say its fantastic and I am so looking forward to some of the new Kimono to be launched.

This is the entrance to the skybox where the show was hosted today and I got a chance to talk to the owner after the show to congratulate her on the successful performance.

The next series of pictures are captured during the live fashion performance and given the condition, I hope you will forgive me if the picture is not up to standard. I need to practice more.

There are a total of 4 creators and basically they will be bring it up in four sections. The above is from one section and the next one is coming right below.

Call me bias, but I like Milky House more mainly because I kinda knew the owner and I had quite some collection of Kimono from them.

I already saw quite some Kimono that I am interested in and I think I will be buying them soon. The next section consist of the theater performance which feature classic Japanese folktales such as Genji Motogari.

And it turn out that I was too busy watching that I totally forgotten to take photos. But its a great performance. Thank you Milky House for hosting such a wonderful even once again!
