LR Wolf Hunter Recurve Bow

The new Wolf Hunter Recurve Bow is a new addition to the LR Weapons range of Elite bows and this one has a very striking yellow and black strips which in itself signals caution. 

There are altogether 5 pieces and if excluded the low lag version, the 3 sheathed version are shown here. 2 bow sheath at your back or hanging at your bottom and an addition quiver for keeping your extra arrows by the side of your hips. And did I mentioned those arrow tips? Very pretty. Kitty hope she doesnt lose any of the arrows and that means she has better not miss.

The bow is curved at a nice angel giving it an easy hold and it is not that long and clumsy even for a sorcerer. See how the yellow tipped arrows goes nicely with Kitty's robes.

And here is a closer look at the back quiver which has stringed textures over it. Did you know that there are 2 texture type for the quiver, arrow feathers as well as the bow? And of course since this is an Elite bow, it features all the anti cheat, low lag and quick responses usage of the LR weapon system.

LR Flute Blowdart

This month, LR has a small release... And it is really not just small in size, but small in cost. At only $400, it is one of the cheapest dartgun you can get, but this is not just any dartgun. It is a flute as well! I think you can ask around that is the fastest shooting weapons and people will tell you its the dartgun. The lowest cool time between shots. Well this is one of them!

When sheath the blowpipe goes nicely onto your thigh and is it almost hidden depending on what you wear. If you have a long dress, it will definitely be hidden so nobody will even suspect you are armed. This is perfect for assassins class of roleplayers! The color and strings can also be configured using the hud easily.

When drawn. it is a simple little flute. What harm can come to it? But this is no ordinary flute! It has both slave and blowdart damage depending on the settings. Come closer and let Kitty play you a song!

This is a flute after all right? So there are many build in animation and if you so desired, this is really be just a flute and not a weapon. But of course it can also be a good cover if you want it to be. Look at how well Kitty plays the flute. No training required and comes with quite a lot of animations in fact.

LR Spartan Spear

The LR Spartan Spear is a new addition from LR and comes in 3 different versions : Switchable, Melee or Throws so it is both effective at close and long range. It also comes with both Polearm and Klaive damages at 40% and 35% respectively. This makes this spear a really good buy for all purpose. To sweeten the deal even more, you get a Spartan Shield that goes with it. The really big one!

Kitty decided that it is not just the Spartan who would wear this. Anyone else could. Even a Fallen Angel. And Kitty is right again. The huge shield did not look heavy for her and the black dark texture of the metal which can be customized with 2 options along with the strings can also give it a really nice fit for the Fallen Angel.

The shield slings nicely onto Kitty's arm together with the spear on the other hand when armed. As usual, this weapon feature all the LR low lag and high accuracy scriptings and even comes with sound and animations. But that you will have to find out on your own.

When sheath, the shield goes nicely on Kitty's back and the spear slings over her shoulder. Feel like Captain American there for a while. Almost. :) Somehow it always feels very safe with a big shield on your back.

LR Vlacos Bow at Secret Affair

The Vlacos Bow is a featured item from LR at the Secret Affair Event. And do not judge this bow by all from its look, It might look simple, but this is v5.00b of the Elite Series bow and you can only expect the best in low lag and usability from LR.

This is a standard long bow size which is slim and gives is a very light weight, easy to be carried by both the big hunk or tiny little girl like Kitty. There is also a nice weaved quiver for slinging the spare arrows on your back.

Unlike most sling, the quiver is put to one side and does not get into the way of anything on your other accessories. It also facilities quicker draw too! Taking about improvement, LR had made a lot of improvement on this new bow and it has much better management of the direction and timing of the arrow that it is going to bring your archery skill up a notch.

There is a side quiver too for those who prefer to have your back freed for example for wings or backpack and other equipment. The quiver texture is tintable and it perfectly matches the bow which you can see here. The arrow now fires more responsively due to scripts improvement and the grapper function had been moved to the HUD instead. Well, most place doesn't allow the grapple anyway, but it is still essential to a Kitty Cat Thief sometimes.

LR Tyrian Armour

LR has release a shield for this month for a change and the first look had inspired Kitty to try this out as mediaval. But Kitty then realized it would look too good unless you are bare body and muscular... At least Kitty thought it would all be the Gladiator and strong men in it. Then watching a show "Mad Max and the Fury Road"... changes everything....

In the dark future, where there is little trace of humanity left, Kitty is with her truck traveling on a endless quest for peace and water in her leather suit and the Tyrian Armor! This was simply out of pure inspiration that Kitty had put together the leather outfit and the armor for a post apocalypse roleplay. Do you like it?

In times like these, you can never be too careful and it never hurts to be more ready and the extr armor really counts. 

The good thing about this armour is that not only does it act as a shield, the Pauldron doesn't really go out of fashion for thousands of years... Take a closer look and you would realized that it fit the Gladiators, it fit Mad Kitty in the post apocalypse too!  

The Bracer is highly detailed and has leather and straps to make the fitting tight. It would prove to be useful when parrying from blows or even small weapons. Best of all, you can never tell if it had been drawn or not... So you can pretty well assume that Kitty can get into a fight ready at anytime!

LR Da Dao

The name Da Dao came from its Chinese words meaning Big Knife. However, if put into context as a Japanese name, it would be Dai Katana or Big Sword. Well, anyway, not to be confused with a ill fated FPS shooter game in the early 90s. This sword is likely more related to the Chinese imperial weapon and it comes in a pair with the shield, optionally equipped, but is definitely a powerful combo of attack and defense with both enable (and supported by sim).

Do not be mistake by the graceful sword dance by Kitty! The Da Dao has a power 35/40% damage which has to be respected in combat. The compile MONO scripts combined with Hyperdraw give you the fastest possible time to draw and immediately strike.

Here is a close up of the Da Dao and Shield. But just for looking, no touching. Kitty know how good the strong wooden shield and heavy metal feels. But she is serious about no touching. Unless you do not mind losing some fingers.

It is also no surprise that this is the chosen weapon for the We Love RolePlay event of Oct 2015. Kitty would love to show you the stances and sound it comes with but those are far beyond what a picture can tell. It can even show blood on blade after it has taken its victim. Better bring a large scarf to wipe that clean.

When sheathed, the shield goes nicely on your back and the sword on the side, just like a Katana. The sight of the Da Dao should be enough to scare away more enemies except than the bosses.

LR The Ravage

The Ravage is a dagger or a pair of dagger depending if you enable the left hand dagger, which again can act as a shield if you wish too (and the sim allows). The dagger comes with a HUD for resize and color change as well. This is the new feature which many LR weapons comes with nowadays.

The dagger is not just a melee weapon. It can be used as a throwing dagger too. You can even equip this as a switchable (though not automatically) weapon. When equipped as a throwing weapon, it even comes with a shield as you can see above. And Kitty has made her dagger blade white and with red outline to match her armor!

Even with the default color, look at the texture of the blade as well as how light it feels in Kitty's tiny little hand. It is a light enough weapon for everyone. While the throwing version only fires in mouse look, the melee version can be fired in both mouselook and normal mode, making this a really fast and dangerous weapons.

 

The Ravage Daggers sheaths nicely on your thigh and doesn't get in the way of anything. So feel free to run and jump with it. Even with both daggers. But with Hyperdraw and MONO scripts, expect this daggers to be drawn quickly and deadly with the least possible lag. Kitty would recommend this to all assassin class players who need to carry concealed and deadly weapons like this.

Kitty is Tomoe Gozen

Kitty has always wanted to cosplay as 巴御前 (Tomoe Gozen). She is the heroine warrior is Kitty's heart and maybe this is the first time, Kitty dresses up as a historical character. 

Tomoe is a really beautiful female warrior (not samurai... that title is reserved only for the guys unfortunately), but she is none the less skilled in combat and actually has never been defeated in several major combat in Japan history. Kitty like her because she possess both the strength and spirit of the warrior as well as the beauty and gentleness of a princess. 

Tomoe is both skilled archery and swordplay, but uses Naginata polearm instead. Kitty could only find a Naginata Katana, but it have to be then.

This is one armor Kitty has chosen to wear as Tomoe Gozen, but it is unlikely she would had worn such a heavy armor in history. She is probably in light and agile armor on horseback, when she is kicking asses.

Many people says the might of the warrior comes from his sword. In this case, Kitty believe it is true. The Naginata blade is none the less a strong and power katana, which can be really dangerous in the wrong hand. Watch Kitty slides the fly beside your ear now. Oops, but its ok.. those little bit of hair would grow back soon.

Kitty had remembered watching a play on Milky about Genpei war, but wasn't sure if she saw Tomoe being featured. But at least today, Kitty got a chance to live in her memory and experience some of the events she were in by reading. Kitty has also found English material for you:

Tomoe was invincible on the horseback and Kitty has looked around for a long time, but not found the perfect horse. This is as close to a warhorse as Kitty can afford anyway. It was a gift. But riding on it, do you think the real Tomoe would related to Kitty? Kitty can only wondered as she rode the horse, slowly though the old Japan village.

I would like to thanks LR for providing the Naginata Katana for this cosplay. The outfit is from Bare Rose and I choose this instead of the Tomoe Gozen they had. But maybe someday I would try that outfit too.

LR Asbjorn Sword

LR has another new sword out! Even better, it is a set of sword and shield, at no additional charge at $600L! Let Kitty show you how awesome this Asbjorn Sword is. And heavy too :(

When sheath, the shapr blade is kept in a nice scabbard where you can hold in your hand or sling to the back as you can see later. This is a good safety measure so that you do not cut yourself by a mistake when handling it. The scabbard is free by the way. It is also very beautifully crafted. The shield will go nicely on your back. Although sheath it could possibly block a unknowing arrow which might hit you on your back. Well, not on meter anyway, you have to RP that part and its fully justified.

When drawn, the sword fits nicely onto your hand. Believe me, the heaviness is worth it as it function as a full shield and can be draw / sheath together with the sword or separately. Kitty prefer them together so that she can quickly get into a fight. It's a good day to draw some blood. And yes, did Kitty forget to mention that there are bloodstain on the sword too, but of course you can disable that for lag or less gore, whichever your reason. 

A hidden function of the shield... It can be use to block sunlight so that it does not mess up all the nice makeup Kitty had spent the whole morning putting on. Well, not sure how it would work in the rain, but Kitty is not planning to find out...

The Asbjorn sword feature all the nice extras from a LR weapons such as low lag, high performance and has 17 realistic animations which Kitty wish she could show you. The shield comes in 3 different texture, the wraps and leather has 3 and 2 texture respectively too. That is quite a lot of different texture to have fun with.

Remember what Kitty said about the big shield and sword... This is how it looks from behind. Now, do you agree it is quite difficult to ambush Kitty because of the protection the shield has provided? Hai, what are you doing with that bow and arrow? You want your blood on the new Asbjorn Sword?

LR Qewyna Slingshot

Ever done shooting birds with Slingshot (and never hit one anyway I hope) in your childhood? Well you can definitely relive that dream now with LR Qewyna Slingshot. It is strong and powerful and actually could hit something really hard at Slave (9/11%) or Arrow (15/20%) damage. 

Shhhh. Ahhh It got away again! Don't blame the slingshot, its just Kitty and her butter fingers. But note that there are many man options to tweak this slingshot from the extended version which had been just restored in this v2.15 and it give your long range with different arc where it is allowed. There are 5 banks of memory for you to quickly switch settings and huge performance boost allowing you to shoot almost within seconds of TP in.

The Qewyna slingshot looks relatively  harmless, but it will really hurt when you are hit, especially in arrow damage mode, where applicable. The slingshot is split into 3 sections, the string, pouch and belt. Each of these sections has 4 texture options which you can easily change in the HUD. 

Looking nice on hand is just not the only thing about this slingshot. It looks really cool when sheath too, on your legs. Kitty is showing you how it should be worn properly so that it does not tangle and trips you. Well, at least not with this slingshot. Its easy to keep and keeps out of the way when you run or jump. And nobody is going to know how its going to hurt, until its too late. :)

LR Divian Armour

There are time when you needed a shield and how you wish you do not need to carry a 1 ton heavy (actually, just joking, but its probably about 20kg) Spartan shield. Well, this is LR answer to that call and it is a compact version name Divian Armour!

The armour comes in 4 pieces, left and right for both arm and legs. The Arms Bracer nicely fits on your forearm and covers it effectively while the legs shinguards protect the front of your legs against lower attacks. Kitty is all armed and ready to try out this armour in the arena!

The arm bracers are painted with a pattern that Kitty thinks its probably blessed or something because the undead skeleton in the back doesn't seems to be interested to come any nearer to Kitty. Also do note that this armour guard set is based on a shield system that is cleared from cheating and it will block any melee attacks as long as you have defense left on your meter. It has a 30% effectiveness against range attack too. I guess that is why you need the shinguard. It would be no joke having an arrow through your leg.

The armour comes with a HUD to resize and change color from a choice of 6 texture color and 7 (not 50) shades of grey from white to black to give it different darkness tone. You are bound to find one you like.

Do you like this Violent Divian Armour? Let's hope you will not be hitting it with your weapons because when Kitty is mad... KITTY is MAD if you scratch her $250L armour. She just got it!
