LR Viking Axe

LR Weapons has 2 items on sale at the We <3 Role-Play event and the second item is the Viking Axe. It is a combination of a formidable heavy axe capable of 4 damage mode and it even comes with a really solid large shield.

Whether you are on land or sea, the Viking Axe sits solid on your back together with the shield just enough to show the might of the combination. At least it will tell any potential attackers that you are ready. The large shield has a beautiful Viking design and it has solid ring scale engraved onto the rim.

The Viking Axe is almost a piece of art with graphite studs along its stem and a hard and strong blade at its top which is enough to crush anything it might not cut! But fear not its weight, this can even be handled by Kitty single-handed, so it must work for you too!

The Viking Shield has a unique emblem which is very similar to those displayed on the Viking House behind Kitty. Can you feel the force coming from the shield that  is enough to even push you away from approaching.

LR Sigurr Axe

The Sigurr Axe from LR Weapons is a hand held of throwable axe made in the Northern style with leather wraps for a better grip and comes in 8 different pieces for various combat systems as well as sheathed. 

The HUD enables you to resize easily and let you customized the 4 different sections to different texture according to your fancy. There is even a blood side of the blade for more realism of a really brutal battle.

When sheathed, the Sigurr Axe hangs easily on your side, one or both depending on your prefers. The left Axe could be used as shield defense depending on the rules of the sim you are playing by. This makes praying or conjuring so simple without having to worry about where you would place your big axe. 

When it is time to take the weapon for a spin, it ready quickly thanks to LR quick draw and look at how well this reflects the sunset even in the grimmest of places.

LR Thorgrim Axe

The Thorgrim Axe from LR Weapon is a set of Axe that comes with a arc shield which totally blends in with most European fantasy setting.

The large shield sheath nicely over your back, giving you protection even when it is doing nothing. The huge span of its cover will be perfect even for aerial attacks such as rain of arrows.

The Thorgrim Axe sits nicely by your side when you have having your adventure, always ready to spring into action when necessary.

LR Slaughterer Axe

The Slaughterer Axe is a bloody weapon, literally, from LR which feature 4 different version with different damage type. But one thing is for sure, this will make even Pyramid Head from Silent Hill worries...

The HUD is simple and it feature a easy change of texture for the handle as well as the size of the Axe. Well, no harm being bigger :)

It would be a shame to hide the Axe, so even when sheath there is no cover for the Axe. After all, what is the point of killing all those wild beasts and not showing it by the mark of blood?

When drawn, this feel just as comfortable as Thor would be with his hammer, except this cuts with a lot more pain, Kitty assure you. Now I heard there is a croc here... Well, no more!

LR Vanaheim Axe

This month LR release the Vanaheim Axe at the We Love Roleplay Event. The Vanaheim Axe is a pair of double Axe with has some shield ability, since it can be used to block an attack too!

A close examination of the include HUD, you an tell there are a lot to be customized and you have full control over not just the texture, but the size of the Axe as well. I guess if you make this small enough you can even make a Tomahawk out of this!

Let's have a look at the Axes sheath safely behind you back. There are 2 sheath option, this is the one without the Buckle, but I guess if you are the huge build type, you might love the buckle! One other thing to note is that did you notice that the Axes are in different color? Yes, you can actually customized them separately but wearing them separately and using the HUD on it.

Although the blades are not as huge as you expected from the huge battle axe, rest assure this is sharp and depending on the version, the damage can reach the Great 45%. Ouch right? Hope you are not getting chopped anytime soon?

Here you can have a closer look at the axe and you can see how detail the strings wraps are. Even the dirt (could it be blood stain) can be seen clearly on it. It does feel a lot lighter to Kitty, but definitely not any less slower because this feature great performance like other LR weapons!

LR Nyodur Axe

The Nyodur Axe is the latest release from LR Weapons and it is a huge wooden handle axe which 4 different damage capability. When Kitty got hold of this axe, the first thought is to shoot the photo as a female barbarian or a viking. But then another thought came into her mind and you will be show a very different way to use this axe in this post.

Before we go into the use of the axe, let's have a look what we can customized using the include HUD. The handle can be made from 2 type of wood and the laces and blade can also be change slightly for your preference. Of course, if size is an issue, feel free to make the change here as well.

Bet you never expect Kitty to be bring the axe to school. You see there is a hidden werewolf in class and it has gotten many of the students and her friends. Extreme time takes extreme measures and there is no better weapon against the werewolf as the silver coated axe. While walking around, you might not want to poke your friends though. So there lies the axe, comfortable on Kitty's back while not in use.

And here we have a good view of the axe in sheath mode. It sure does not look as heavy as it seems to be.

But make no mistake, when there is a need for the axe, Kitty can quickly draw and chop at the same time thanks to the zero lag weapon system in LR Weapons.

LR Nyodir Axe

This month at the We Love Roleplay fair, LR had pushed out a pair of Axes for some serious chopping... of prices too!

Whether you really plan to use this LR weapon, which works in most sims and meters, it does look good on your back and whats more, how about 2 of them. Perfect for a dwarf but also perfect even if you are Snow White Kitty. But your friends better mind the sharp edges when giving you a pet on your back.

The Nyodir Axe comes with a LR HUD which give you options to color the axe's color, the wooden handle as well as the laces. Who says you can't mix fashion with weapons?

LR Vlacos Axe

The Vlacos Axe is a set of double Axe with a big thick wooden shield which is optional and is the ideal heavy weapon for almost everyone when might is needed. Unless you are with the hulk... But even he needs a weapon sometimes.

When sheathed, the large shield and double axe sits nearly on your shoulder which also acts as a protection against backstabbers. Kitty is almost covered all the way, where the rest is up to her nine tails to do so.

When drawn, the double axe is is fearsome pair which you prefer not to be facing in battle. While only 1 axe does the damage, the other could act as a shield to parry and there is a huge shield you will need to get through to harm Kitty. But of course Kitty will not tell you which Axe does the damage, although you should read the manual and you will know. :)

Kitty did not need to tell you how this Axe is similar to other LR weapons which feature low lag time and quick draw, plus multiple damage. But what Kitty is going to focus here is the texture and the details of the weapon .The rest will be proven in battle. There are lots of cool animations too when using the Axe. Just make sure you hold tight to it because when it hit, it is going to hit real hard like a Great Sword.

LR Neyven Axe and Shield at We Love Roleplay Event

The Neyven Axe is another item LR is showcasing at the We Love Roleplay Event. It comes with a big heavy axe (ouch on your head :P) and a beautifully textured shield. Lets start looking at the Axe.

Want to mug someone... Maybe you will think twice about this girl (its Kitty!) with the big axe on her shoulder... Not only is the axe intimidating, it also comes with 3 version... Axe, Great Axe and Klaive, each with its damage level different (up to 45% in the Great Axe). So in a way, you never knew which version is drawn until its too late. Therefore is it a good advice not to mess with the girl with the big axe.

Look at the weight of the huge axe (for Kitty anyway...) and since it comes with 3 version, it is actually even possible to mount them together... In short, you get 3 weapons for the price of one! Hei, the Axe is down here... stop staring!

Kitty has always admire those huge shields used by the Romans and if you purchase this package, it comes with a Neyven shield too! It is obviously big enough because Kitty is able to hide well from it and look at those beautiful texture... You would not want to scratch them do you? If you do, you will answer to Kitty's Great Axe! :)

Arming the Axe and the Shield, Kitty almost feel like a viking raider going on a rampage. But of course the weapon looks hard and heavy and certainly do perform very well as usual to all LR weapons such as hyperdraw which almost give you no wait when you get into a fight. It is also compatible with most meter making sure you do not need to keep buying weapons when you fight from sim to sim. The perfect troublemaker weapon, don't you think?

The shield comes with 5 coloring from light to dark and also has options of enabling running animations. It function otherwise like any other quality shield blocking attacks from weapons. But otherwise, at least it looks beautiful and huge. Nobody said you can be pretty and dangerous at the same time.

Happy Easter Hunt by SG

From now till 13th April 2015, SG Design is hosting a store hunt where there are 40, yes, make no mistake... 40 eggs to be found. Inside you will find weapons, outfit and all from the store. While typically you will be expecting to spend about $600L for a DCS/Gor/GM weapon, here is your chance to get one at $15L or get all 40 items at $600L... Kitty is the Dragon Queen and the Defender of the Castle. 

If you are not convinced by her armor, then at least be fearful of her blades. And katanas are one of the sharpest blades in the world (and sl).

And not all outfit are tough and rough. There are some which are very suitable for gentle girls like Kitty... Oh wait, it also doesn't mean gentle girls do not carry a weapon!

Kitty always love playing Assassin Creed. And there is just one that pretty much make that easy and possible. However, the sword might be a bit over doing it for an assassin. But nevertheless it does the job done.
