Kismeta grabbed hold of Kitty and let the storm rages past them.. The winds howls madly as the rain and seawater send spirals of water streams at the girls. Kismeta's undying body protect Kitty as her angelic wings folds up on her covering her like a baby...
All is calm now.
The sun lights hits the duo like rays of new hope as Kitty slowly open her eyes, her clothes all torn and drained wet from the storm. Kismeta eyes is closes, indicating that she might had over exerted herself protecting her and went into a deep stance of slumber. Kitty slowly pushes herself out from her companions deep embrace as covers her eyes as the sun shone so brightly, it is almost blinding to her. She staggered and got up after a fall or two, standing on the almost destroyed pier. Her eyes now finally see beyond the far reach of the sea.
Not sure of what to say or do... she just stood still, wondering if she should had just given up and sink into the cold waters of inferno below, but the cold hand from her long lost friend has pulled her away from her inevitable doom. It seems almost unreal. She couldn't tell if she should be sad or happy to be alive.
Without warning, she feel a red bands slides over her eyes and tightens behind her head. The smell of this old blindfolds fills her nose. Yes, this was her blindfold. One she had used long time ago. With her eyes now blinded, she starts to feel with her smell, her ears and her skin of the surrounding. She can faintly sense Kismeta now... Her build still as before, maybe even stronger since she last met her. The little girl she had saved from Europa from the clutches of a Elder Lord possession is nowhere to be found. The girl standing behind her now is a Knightess of the Order of the Rose serving Queen Catarina. Kitty turns around and jump hugging her long lost companion. "I really miss you Kissy" She screams at the top of her voices, releasing her intense bottled up feeling for the past months, lost and trapped on this island.
Kitty felt her cold companion raise her hand and down pressing onto hers is a metal long blade in a worn sheath. "Remember this?" she spoke coldly, as ever for she has no life left in her, an undying resurrected by the means of dark forbidden magic casted by Kitty at the cost of her life force. The blade feels familiar and almost immediately resonates with her body as the send of warmth flows right from her skin into her heart. The blade is non other than "The Promise", a blade given to Kismeta by the Queen herself as a farewell gift when they planned to left the eastern lands. The very same blade that slain the daemon lord of infinite deception himself at the shogun castle just months before they set sail off the eastern shores.
"The Promise. I remembered," She paused, then continue firmly. "You said you preferred your short blades and this long sword suits me better." She smiled as she sling it to her belt. "Thanks for retrieving it for me Kissy." Kitty taps her shoulder gently, and almost swear she felt her warmth for a brief second before Kismeta interrupts her thoughts.
"Kitty, do you know you have been here for years?" She asked, knowing the answer. Although it only felt like months, but due to the dark magic that cursed the island, Kitty had actually been here for years without knowing. Kitty bites her lips, somehow know that she is right because she must had too fallen into the spell of the island's effect. "Then we must leave now, Kissy" She said firmly, her hand held Kissy's indicating her determination.
Coldy, Kissy replied "I had created 2 Ninja kites, enchanted with the light magic I could conjured over the last few moons, With that we should be able to break through the aura from the island, then we can figure a way to reach land using the ocean winds." she paued sensing the hope that begin to shine in Kitty's heart. "There is no other ways. Your summoning magic is sealed and you are under the spell of illusion. Therefore only with your eyes blinded, can you see the truth, my mistress." The last two words almost felt warm. Kissy was once her loyal servant as she journey through the lands of Europa fighting the western demons from village to village.
Kitty look at the two ninja kits crafted with the eastern enchantment, strange words in ancient languages in-scripted with blood on it. Kitty may not be able to see with her naked eyes now, but her inner eyes was reawaken and with precision, she leap up tall into the trees mounting on one of the kites prepared, shouted to Kismeta "Let's go now then. We do not have a reason to stay." Kismeta leap swiftly and silently mounting the second kite and with her skillful blades, she cuts off the safety ropes, sending the kites into high sky, taken by the strong wind.
"Let's go Kitty. The world still needs you!" Kismeta smiled as their kites breaks through the dark enchantment surrounding the island. She knew she had gotten her mistress back now.
